Statistics

Soon a CCEF statistics page will be added. This will cover the trash that has been picked up and disposed of by year since 1999. Statistics will also include planting events that CCEF has coordinated.

The total statistics from 1999 to 2009 are: 6261 volunteers, 303 tons of trash, 5025 tires, 1201 appliances – refrigerators and freezers, 376 gallons of oil, 1 semi-truck, 18 fiberglass boats, 5 trucks, 3 cars

Spring Adopt-A-Beach

CCEF was not able to participate in the 2010 Spring Adopt-A-Beach event due to previous commitments of the volunteer board members.

However, Adopt-A-Beach in the Seabrook area was coordinated by Erin Radney of Clear Lake High School, who has coordinated past Seabrook area cleanups.

Erin said, “It went really well. There were somewhere between 80 – 100 volunteers that showed up.”
